What data we process

The details you give in the booking and contact forms: name, email address, phone number, requested dates, number of guests, information about pets, your choice of final cleaning and your message. The site language used when sending the form is also stored.

Purpose and legal basis

We use the data to reply to your message, to agree on the rental with you and to manage the rental. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing the contract (EU General Data Protection Regulation, Article 6(1)(b)).

We do not use the data for marketing without your separate consent, and we do not share it with others.

Retention

Booking requests and messages that do not lead to a rental are deleted within 12 months. Data on completed rentals is kept for as long as accounting and tax legislation requires.

Service providers and transfers

Form submissions are received and stored by the site's hosting provider, Netlify, Inc. Emails sent to hei@lyokki.com are forwarded by Cloudflare, Inc. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser's IP address is sent to Google.

These providers are based in the United States, so data may be transferred outside the EU. Transfers are based on the providers' data protection terms and the safeguards required by the GDPR.

Cookies

The site does not use cookies or visitor tracking.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we process about you, and to request rectification or erasure, to restrict processing and to object to it. Send your request to hei@lyokki.com.

If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Finland the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
